Super impressive looks, nailed the noise/pixelation effects! The game was fun and enjoyable, only part which “irked” me is the transitions when you move from bottom to top on a scene, for me it was quite hard to get a grasp on where I would end up, and felt like it broke the flow a bit, cuz I had to wait.

Other than that, super solid entry in 2 hours, amazing job! 3200!

Ah, yes it also "irked" me quite a bit too. It's because it's basically just a simple screen wrap so you're always going to appear on the "opposite" side when you go off the top/bottom or left/right of the screen.  And sometimes it triggers more than once because of some wonky hit boxes. I was intending on cleaning it all up but got caught up fixing other things here and there and had to roll with it:)

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it!

Cool game, got 4600! My major pain point was having my bullets cut off when I was just about to hit cause I moved to a new screen. Very impressive for 2 hours!

Haha, yes. That was a huge annoyance for me too but unfortunately the way I had everything set up...I couldn't really change it without breaking everything before I had to submit it. Thanks for playing though and leaving a comment!

This is fun - and reminds me a bit of Switch and Shoot - but I find the ship moves to a new screen way earlier than I’d like. I’ll be waiting to line up a shot with an asteroid and then boop, a wing just barely grazed the screen edge so now I’m somewhere new. The comparatively slow shot speed is a bit of a factor as well: it’s a little frustrating to enter a new screen facing the wrong direction, wait for a shot to line up, then drift elsewhere before it actually has a chance to connect. Still, it’s hugely impressive for just two hours!

I agree, and at one point I had a kind of pause where your ship would go off screen but it would let your bullet reach it's target (or go off screen itself) before moving on to the new one. But because of how I threw everything together, it caused a whole other range of issues. Soooooo I just went with what I had, because I had to submit it soon. Thanks for playing though, I feel like for me this was mostly just to see if this type of thing in concept would be fun! I think I'll probably mess with this more after the jam, as it's simple but I really wanted more time to play with the mechanic.
